Established in 1991, MICA (formerly known as Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad), is the only residential institute in the country, and perhaps in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to creating Leadership in Strategic Marketing and Communication. MICA Placements

A great emphasis has been laid on the rigorous selection procedure to ensure that a perfect talent pool is chosen for this flagship course. MICA has a unique admission procedure consisting of MICA Admission Test (MICAT), group exercises and personal interviews. MICAT is a special test designed to identify students with a perfect mix of logical and abstraction abilities though the psychometric, aptitude and general awareness questions. This balanced approach is also extended to the curriculum with Core and Foundation courses in the fields of Marketing, General Management, Digital, Media-Advertising paired up with Culture and Communication courses like Communication Theories, Imagining India and Semiotics, which helps students understand the Indian diaspora which is key for marketing. To equip the students with an industry aligned approach, MICA provides students with numerous live projects with the industry along with Summer Internships. These opportunities hone a MICA student’s analytical and logical skills with a platform to apply their creativity and out-of- the-box solutions.
