NEET exam has resulted in improving the medical education in the country and has also curbed the malpractices that used to take place in medical admission. According to Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State Health and Welfare, NEET has really helped to ensure that the minimum standards of medical education are maintained and only eligible candidates get admission. The exam has not only transformed the standards of medical education but has also led to transparency in the system and in reducing the burden of appearing in multiple entrance tests on aspirants.
