SET 2021 to be Conducted as Online Home Proctored Test, Exam Pattern Changed
Candidates can now take the SET exam including the Symbiosis Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE)/ Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)/ SET-General 2021 from the comfort of their homes. The test has been postponed indefinitely and the exam pattern has also changed.
Symbiosis International University (SIU)has announced that theSET exam 2021will be conducted through a home proctored mode. The online test that was scheduled to be conducted on June 27, 2021, across over 80 cities will now be held from July 10-13, 2021.
Theexam pattern of SEThas also been revised for all the exams exceptSEEDand the number of questions has been reduced from 75 to 60.SEED exam has been cancelledand candidates will be shortlisted for design admission based on Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction rounds.
Candidates can now take the Symbiosis Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE)/Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)/ SET-General 2021 from the comfort of their homes. The exams will be held using a combination ofArtificial Intelligence (AI)and human intelligence. This series of decisions came after the spread of the second wave of COVID-19 in India.

There will be no negative marking.
SEED 2021has been cancelled and Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction rounds will be held to shortlist the candidates for design admissions.
The Written Ability Test (WAT) for SET-General and SLAT will be enabled 60 minutes after the completion of the respective tests.
All the Differently Abled candidates will be will given an extra 20 minutes per hour.
