Uttar Pradesh Free Laptop Yojana - 10th & 12th Students Apply Now for Free Laptops

To promote quality education and help the needy students access quality education, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to distribute free laptops to around 22 lakh class 10th and 12th students of the state. This INR 1800 Crore UP Government scheme is believed to be beneficial for those who cannot afford laptops or smartphones to satiate their hunger for quality education. Through this “Free Laptop Yojana”, students of classes 10th and 12th will not only have access to quality education but will also act as a catalyst for them to pursue higher education. 

According to some trusted sources, the UP Government will deliver these free laptops within a month. To ensure the process can overcome any hiccups, the Government has appointed a 6-member team. The registration process to apply for free laptops will commence by the end of November month.

• Applicants must be either student of classes 10th or 12th

• Only 12th qualified students who are planning to pursue higher education are eligible to apply 

• Applicants must have secured at least 65% marks (overall) in their respective class 10 or 12 exams to be eligible for the yojana
