JoSAA round 2 seat allotment list will release on 28th September 2022. Candidates will be able to check the allotment result in an online mode on the official JoSAA portal- josaa.nic.in. Those who did not get their preferred allotted seat in the first round can wait for the second round of seat allotment. Ranks in JEE Mains determine entrance into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA, whereas those in JEE Advanced determine entry into the premier IITs. JoSAA eligibility criteria 2022 should be checked by applicants before registering for the counselling process.

Eligibility Criteria for JoSAA 2022 Round 2 Counselling
The eligibility criteria for round 2 counselling has been given down below-
- Candidates must have qualified JEE Mains in order to get admission into various programmes at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
- They must have qualified in JEE Advanced to get their preferred degree programme in IIT.
- They also must have passed class 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects. '
- If they do not want the seat allotted to them in round 1, they can choose to apply for round 2 seat allotment.
