Infrastructure: All the building are big and strong made by the experience civil engineers. The main building of NIT srinagar is the best piece of architecture. The Houses and building make the campus more attractive.

Overall: The college is situated in the kashmir valley, so beautiful that you feel like you're in heaven. the campus is very beautiful in the season of winters, but again due to the winters the temperature is quite low making it bit harder to live. NIT Srinagar is worth taking if you're getting good branches over here.
Placement: The average placements of my branch is 13 LPA, however the placements were not good enough due to the recession. the placements of the previous year were quite good, approx 90% of the students got placed in the year 2023, the placements of year 2024 is still going on.
Infrastructure: There is a lot of construction work going on.Mega boys hostel is under construction, auditorium is under construction, so we can say that infrastructure is good by now, but it will be great in the next 2 years. The college contains descent amount of playing area in which there are few courts ( basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, football) , running track and a cricket ground. Smart boards are used in the classrooms, labs are fully functional and a lot more.

Hostels are equipped with wi-fi on each floor with 24x7 electricity and water supplies.
Overall: Beautiful campus , can't go wrong with the dal lake just besides it , hostel's are above average I'd say , food is great, campus is located in a well populated area so there's lots of stuff to do after classes , during winter you can get the chances to see snowfall in campus, in an academics point of view I'd say it's a good college, professors are well qualified IITians and NITians ,some have even done their studies from abroad
Placement: NIT Srinagar is a solid choice for studying engineering. It's part of the NIT system, known for its quality education. However, being located in Srinagar might come with its own set of considerations, so it's worth looking into specifics about placements and other factors.
Infrastructure: infrastructure is above average , there's an auditorium under construction and a mega hostel as well( February 2024), the roads I would say are in need of improvement, some of them are a bit broken and during rains there's a bit of problem in roaming the campus due to the mud
Faculty: faculty is great but at the end of the day you have to study yourself as well , be it from youtube or notes , but the faculty is well qualified, some are IITians NITians and some have completed their studies from abroad
Hostel: Hostels are good , of course they are not at the level of private colleges that cost a fortune , the hostel fees is somewhat around 8000 rs and for that it's great , rooms are clean well painted , decently large , the only problem is that they have accumulated 5 people in one room ,which is quite unusual.
Overall: This institute is good and if you opt for chemical engineering you'll get plenty of time to prepare for coding languages. But don't expect much from the faculty as the faculty for specifically chemical engineering is not good, only mechanical engineering faculty is good and teachers are actually something
Placement: Placement rate in this institute is pretty decent, you'll get many companies for placements and with good packages so it's pretty decent and it has nit tag so that also helps. Afterall all you gotta do is hardwork.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure it's pretty good and still improving, working on new hostel which is a sight to behold. In winters it's even better with snowfall.
Faculty: It depends on what stream you get because in some streams like chemical engineering the faculty is not good, you have to study on your own and some of them even might try to fail you if you go on their bad side.
Hostel: According to me, the hostels are pretty good as I got manasbal hostel it's very nice but if somehow you get other hostel like chenab or indus you're gonna be disappointed as these hostels are not good.
Placement: Placement is good in CS branch average Placement is 19 LPA and in electronic and communication averages is 14 LPA and in electrical there is 13 LPA and in civil average placement is 8 LPA
Faculty: Collage faculty is really very helpful teachers help students in every direction weather that is academic or non academic they remain available 24/7 for the students
Hostel: Hostel facilities are really very good and food given in mess is healthy and worthy and menu gets change day by day due to which students enjoy the food.
Overall: If we talk about overall performance of this college it is pretty good . It is situated in a very beautiful place from where you can the beauty of nature.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. As this college is running from 1962 it's infrastructure is very good even after so many years this looks more beautiful in snowfall time
Faculty: Teaching staff of nit Srinagar is quite good as their are well experienced professors but in first some PhD will also come to teach some subjects but in 2 3 years you can get better experienced professors
