Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, popularly known as BITS Pilani, is a private deemed university established in 1964. BITS Pilani admission 2026 is ongoing across UG, PG, and doctoral programs. The B.E. program is the most sought-after course, with admissions conducted through BITSAT 2026 — the institute’s own entrance exam. Unlike IITs/NITs, BITS Pilani does not accept JEE Main or JEE Advanced scores, and there is no management quota or reservation policy. All seats are allotted purely on merit through the BITSAT-based iteration process.

For postgraduate programs, the institute accepts GATE or conducts the BITS HD Test for M.E., BAAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT for MBA, GPAT for M.Pharm., and its own entrance test followed by an interview for PhD admissions.
