Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Economics, Financial Economics, Agribusiness Economics and International Business Economics & Finance for the academic year 2016-17.
Eligibility Criteria-
The graduates who scored minimum 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates) are eligible for taking admission to M.Sc programs.
The final year graduate students who are waiting for their Results can also apply. Their Results must be conveyed by the respective universities to the institute on or before 1st July 2016 for taking admission to the program.

Candidates can download the filled in application form and submit it along with application form fee of Rs. 2,500/- (Rs. 1250/- for reserved category candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, for M.Sc Economics only) payable by Demand Draft in favour of Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, payable at Pune and other required documents to ‘The Registrar, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, 846, Shivaji Nagar, Pune – 411004(Maharashtra)’.
Selection Procedure-
Admission shall be strictly in order of merit, as assessed by performance in the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
The duration of the examination will be of 120 minutes and will consist of 100 objective type questions, each carrying 1 mark. For each wrong answer, one fourth of the marks will be deducted.
Important Dates-
Last date of submission of the application form: Friday, May 20, 2016.
Date of entrance test: Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Results of entrance test will be announced on: Monday, June 20, 2016.
