Andhra Pradesh Law admissions 2019 are being delayed due to administrative reasons. Many students are opting law colleges in Telangana due to the delay in the admission process in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh B.A. LLB, LL.B and LL.M admissions for the academic year 2019-20 are being delayed for various administrative reasons, and this delay is leaving law aspirants in the lurch. According to APSCHE, the counselling process for AP LAWCET is being delayed due to the lack of approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI). BCI’s delay in granting approval to some of the law colleges in AP is one of the primary reasons for the delay in the counselling process. On the other hand, the lack of clarity on the fee reimbursement scheme is also one of the reasons for the delay.
Law admissions in Telangana have already begun, and the first round counselling is closing this week. However, there is no clarity on the counselling/ admission process in Andhra Pradesh, which is making law aspirants look for alternative options. Some of the law aspirants in AP are ready to take admission in Telangana, which will eventually affect the admission statistics in AP. APSCHE officials are tight-lipped about the counselling, and no clarity is being given on the same.
Last year, law admissions in Andhra Pradesh commenced in the second week of October. This year, no clarity on the counselling process until the third week and no one knows the exact dates for the admissions.

AP LAWCET results were announced in June, and it has been four months since the process for the entrance exam has been done. It is time to commence the admission process for Law courses in Andhra so that the academic year does not get affected.
