The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board has announced the results of the Andhra Pradesh Police Constable final exam. The AP Police Constable exam was conducted to recruit candidates for 2,723 constable posts. Its results were released on the night of 29th July 2019, Monday. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results online on the official website.
The total number of candidates who appeared for the exam is 64,575 and 58,007 out of these candidates have qualified the exam. Among all the candidates that have qualified, 4,498 are women and 53,509 are men. The merit list of AP Police Constable Exam will be prepared by giving ranks to candidates based on highest marks, reservations, and some other factors.

21 candidates are competing for each post after the final results of the written test. Kumar Vishwajeet, the Chairman of the AP State Level Police Recruitment Board, said that the OMR sheets of all candidates will be made available on the website soon. The notification for the recruitment of posts of police constables was issued in November 2018 and a total of 3.94 lakhs candidates had applied for the vacant posts. Candidates were selected for the final written exam after they qualified the preliminary written test and the physical fitness test.

Kumar Vishwajeet also said that candidates can download their scanned OMR sheets from 30th July 2019 to 1st August 2019 till 5:00 pm. If the candidates have any objections regarding their scores or OMR sheets, they can request for their answer sheets to be verified for which they will have to pay a sum of Rs. 1,000. The candidates will receive the details of their marks via mail or SMS.
