AYUSH Reduces NEET 2020 Cutoff for Medical Candidates

Ministry of AYUSH has reduced the NEET 2020 cutoff for admission into Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy courses. The AYUSH NEET 2020 cut off has been reduced following requests of students.

Ministry of AYUSH has reduced the NEET 2020 cutoff for admission into Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy courses. The AYUSH NEET 2020 cut off has been reduced following the requests by various students. The NEET 2020 cutoff for general category candidates has been reduced to 40th percentile, for SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates it has been reduced to 30th and 35th percentile.

AYUSH shared an official notice regarding the revised NEET 2020 cutoff for admissions. It also informed that the revised cutoff is only applicable for admission to the 2020-21 academic year. All state counselling authorities will use reduced NEET cutoff percentile for admission to AYUSH courses. Earlier, AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) had released a revised schedule for mop-up round counselling for AYUSH admissions for the 2020-21 academic year.

The registration for AYUSH Round 3 counselling has started from 19th January and will continue till 21st January 2021. The choice filling will be held on 27th January 2021 followed by the reporting of candidates to respective colleges for final admissions.
