AYUSH Courses All India Quota (AIQ) Admission Process 2024

AYUSH Courses All India Quota (AIQ) Admission Process 2024:  Counselling is conducted for AYUSH All India Quota seats, seats in national institutes central universities, government-aided institutions, private colleges, and 100% of seats in deemed universities by the AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). Prior to the deadline, candidates who wish to participate in the counselling, must fill out their choices for universities and courses and also lock them during the choice-locking process. 


AYUSH Courses All India Quota (AIQ) Admission Process 2024 will be conducted in a similar pattern compared to MBBS/BDS course admission. Admission to AYUSH courses can be taken through AIQ- All India Quota or SQ- State Quota. There is 15% of All India Quota and 85% of State Quota. AYUSH Counselling is conducted in 3 rounds, Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round. A mop-up round will only be held for deemed/central universities and national institutes after the authority conducts two rounds of aaccc.gov.in

It involves researching the more conventional branches of medicine, like Homeopathy, Unani, etc. On the basis of the results of the NEET UG 2024 Exam, numerous colleges in India offer admission to AYUSH programs and hold admissions counselling. Similar to medicine, the majority of AYUSH seats at various institutions are held exclusively for students with state domiciles. AIQ, or the All-India Quota, is designated for 15% of the seats in all AYUSH courses. The completion of AYUSH AIQ admissions comes after the state quota admissions. Yoga and Naturopathy

Yoga is a practice of ancient Indian body exercises and breathing techniques. This is one of the most ancient forms of physical exercise which is now popular all over the world. The western countries have also adopted yoga practices and studies. Naturopathy belongs to the ancient Latin European traditions of medical practice which focuses on self-healing of the body. Naturopathy word is derived from ‘Nature’ as it focuses on natural remedies. The degrees offered for Yoga and Naturopathy are generally B.Sc or BPT.

Like Ayurveda, Unani or Yunani is a medical practice that originated in Ancient Persia and is now considered one of the most popular practices of alternative medicine. The Unani practices were brought to India by the Persian and Mughal rulers of India. The degree awarded for bachelors in Unani is Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery or BUMS

Siddha

INR 15,000 to INR 70,000

Along the same lines as Ayurveda, Siddha is a medicinal practice from ancient India. Originating from Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka in Palm-Leaf manuscripts, Siddha is one of the most popular alternative medicine practices in India. It also focuses on natural self-healing stimulation from herbs. The bachelor's degree provided for Siddha Practitioners is Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery or BSMS

Homeopathy

INR 45,000 to INR 1,20,000

Homeopathy is another alternative-medicine practice invented by Samuel Hahnemann in the Middle of 18th Century Europe. This practice is famous worldwide and also focuses on the self-healing of the body. The degree awarded in the Bachelor of Homeopathy is Bachelor of Homoeopathy Medicine and Surgery (BHMS).

AYUSH AIQ Admission Dates 2024

AYUSH All India Quota (AIQ) Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for applying for AYUSH courses are along similar lines as NEET. The following are some of the key points regarding the AYUSH eligibility criteria.

AYUSH All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling Process 2024

For registering with AIQ in the AYUSH Institute admissions, one has to register on the NEET Counselling 2024 website. The steps and process of counselling are as follows:

  • The candidate has to first register on the official NEET counselling website by filling up online forms and paying the registration amount online.

  • Then the candidate has to do ‘Choice Filling and Looking,’ in this step the candidate has to fill his/her choice of course and select the colleges he/she wants admission in.

  • After the locking of choices, the candidate has to wait for the seat allotment results publishing. The seat allotment will be depending upon the availability of seats in the institute, choice, and the NEET score of the candidate.

  • After the candidate has been allotted an institute of his/her choice, he/she has to visit the college with an allotment letter for securing admission

  • If the candidate cannot get a seat in the college of his/her choice, the candidate can again register for the next rounds, the process is the same as mentioned before.

AYUSH All India Quota (AIQ) Admission 2024

At the time of visiting the college for securing admissions, some documents are needed for verification purposes. The documents are as follows:

  • 10th passing certificate (As age proof)

  • 12th passing certificate

  • Admit card of NEET-UG 2024

  • Result/scorecard of NEET-UG 2024

  • Category certificate (if required)

  • Nativity or resident certificate

  • ID Proof (Any of Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Passport, etc)

  • School (or college) leaving certificate

  • Passport size photos - 8

  • Birth certificate of the candidate

The Government Dental College Raipur cutoff 2023 for NEET UG is more than 400 marks for state-quota students. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Raipur has released the NEET cut-off 2023 Chhattisgarh round 1 for 85% of state quota seats. However, the cutoff for 15% AIQ seats at Government Dental College Raipur will be released by MCC. You can check the official cutoff list to be sure whether you are eligible for admission.

For admission to the MBBS course at the Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, a valid NEET UG 2023 score is necessary. The NEET cut off marks differ for various student categories (GEN, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The 458 marks is a good NEET score if you belong to an OBC category.
