AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) is the conducting authority for AYUSH NEET 2022 admission process. It will release the AYUSH NEET application form 2022 on the official website ( soon. Aspirants seeking admission to AYUSH courses through NTA NEET will have to register online. Those with their names on the NEET merit list are eligible for the counselling process. Upon successful registration, candidates need to fill in their preferred courses and colleges to participate in AYUSH NEET counselling process 2022. NEET 2022 counselling process is expected to start from September 25, 2022. 

The entire process will be conducted in an online mode for admission to 15% seats at government/private colleges, national institutes and central universities in India. 100% seats in deemed universities will be allocated for admission to Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani courses. The remaining 85% seats will be granted by the respective state counselling authorities under the State Quota.

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for AYUSH NEET counselling 2022, one has to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • Must have qualified NEET 2022 exam

  • Must have attained the minimum age of 17 years 

  • Must have completed Class 12 or equivalent level of education from a recognized board of education with Biology, Physics, English and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. 

  • Must have secured at least 50% aggregate in 10+2 examination (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwD candidates

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022 - State Counselling Process

As known, 85% of the total seats under state quota will be filled candidates through AYUSH NEET State Counseling. Candidates are advised to go through the website of the respective colleges/institutes to check their eligibility criteria as they may differ.

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022 - Centralized Counselling Process

  • AACCC will conduct AYUSH NEET Centralized Counseling Process for 15% of All India Quota seats in Siddha, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani colleges across the country. This involves the following steps:

  • Candidates will need to fill their choice of courses and colleges within the deadline

  • In case, they fail to lock their choices on time, the choices will be locked by default.

  • The conducting authority will publish the seat allotment list after subsequent rounds of counselling. 

  • Applicants who were not assigned seats in the first round of counselling will be allowed to participate in the following round by entering fresh choices

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022 - Registration Process

The AYUSH UG counselling application/registration is done in an online mode. To complete the process, candidates must follow these steps:

  • Visit AYUSH NEET official website - and click on the ‘UG counselling’ tab

  • To register fresh, click on the link saying ‘New candidate registration’

  • Enter DOB, NEET registration number, roll number, and security pin

  • Login using the roll number and password sent on the registered email id and phone number

  • Fill in academic and personal details, NEET scores, and upload necessary documents

  • Pay the required application fee and get a print out of the confirmation page for future use

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022: Choice Filling

After completing the registration process, candidates will have to provide their college-course choice in a preferential order through a choice filling form. The form is filled online through the official website of AACCC and is done separately for every round of counselling. There is no limit on the number of course-college choices one prefers to fill in. Once the choice filling form is completed, candidates must not forget to lock these choices before the said deadline. 

AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022 - Seat Allotment

Based on the choices filled for various courses and NEET 2022 rank, AACCC prepares a seat allotment list, which is as follows:

  • Candidates who make it to the list are allocated seat to the different institutes.

  • To confirm that a candidate wants to continue with the allotted seat, she/he will have to log into the AACCC website and choose their option. 

  • Through this, they can either reject the offer or accept it. 

  • If they accept it, their seat is confirmed. 

  • If they reject it, they are no longer entitled to the seat and it is then marked as vacant.
