B.Com remains the most popular course in Tamil Nadu. Nearly 50% of the applications are for B.Com followed BA English Literature.

The UG Admissions in Tamil Nadu and Kerala have kick-started for the upcoming academic year and due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the trend is slightly different as compared to the last year. Many students have decided to remain in their states rather than go to the neighbouring states to pursue higher education.

With the start of UG Admissions in Tamil Nadu, colleges have witnessed a huge rush and it is B.Com which is the most popular course among the candidates. According to the reports, 50% of the total applications in the state are for the B.Com course. The second most popular course among the students is BA English literature.
