For the first time, the institute has taken initiatives for candidates applying for the test under Persons with Disability (PWD) category. The CAT Application web page will have a separate tab dedicated for assistance required by PWD candidates. There are various options which include requesting for a wheelchair, applying for a scribe, enabling a zoom feature and so on and so forth. These options would also be available from October 1 to 5, 2016.
For the candidates with visual difficulty, questions will be provided in the form of graphs, pictures and maps at every test centre. In the same way, wheelchairs will be provided to those who may need mobility assistance.
The institute has cautioned the students regarding the last minute registrations which may cause inconvenience. So, the candidates are advised to register early to avoid late server response time.
