CBSE List of Vocational Subjects for Class 10 & 12 Board Exams 2020

CBSE has released the list of vocational subjects for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2020. The students of class 10th and 12th have already started preparing for the upcoming board exams. CBSE will begin board exams for students who have opted for vocational courses in February 2020 itself. This will help reduce the eventual exam period of core academic subjects from seven weeks to four weeks.

The board will conduct examinations for the core subjects in the month of March 2020. The board exams for the vocational courses will be conducted in school-based centres while the examinations of the core subjects will be conducted at external centres.

Since there were many instances of the paper leak during the CBSE board exams last year, the Board and HRD ministry collectively are making efforts to ensure smooth conduct of exams. The Board had drawn a lot of criticism last year after the matter was reported following which a re-exam had to be conducted.

The main motive of the team is to keep a check on the security and transportation system of exam papers to the different centres. There are approximately 168 courses in class 12th and 70 courses in class 10th for which exams are conducted by the Board.
