Chandigarh University Introduces Nursing Courses; Establishes University Institute of Nursing.

Chandigarh University has established the University Institute of Nursing which will offer two undergraduate Nursing courses: B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing Midwifery.

Chandigarh University has established the University Institute of Nursing which will offer two undergraduate Nursing courses: B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing Midwifery. Over the past few years, Nursing has become one of the most sought-after professions. Also, the outbreak of the pandemic has made people a lot more aware of the importance of nurses to modern health care.

Chandigarh University Nursing Courses Eligibility

The eligibility for Nursing courses offered at Chandigarh University are as follows:

Course Name	Eligibility
B.Sc Nursing	To be eligible for a B.Sc Nursing course at CU one must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% Aggregate marks with (PCBE-Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from a recognized Board/ University. The minimum age for the course is 17 Years while the upper age limit is 35 Years on or before 31st December of the year of Admission. The candidate also requires to be medically fit
GNM	To pursue GNM candidates passed have passed 10+2 with English with a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Also, an applicant with 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council is eligible. The age criteria for the course is the same as BSc Nursing. However, there is no age bar for LHV.
