He advised that hydrogen must be used to produce energy instead of oil so that pollution and carbon dioxide emissions can be controlled. A plan must be designed to implement this system. He stated that to produce hydrogen quickly, people have found an artificial photosynthesis process. However, the people are unaware of the environmental problems associated with energy.

He expressed his concern over the fact that carbon dioxide that is being produced in India or any other part of the world is 20 times more than what the world produced 20 years ago. Therefore, the universities need to venture into these challenging areas.

He further indicated that very few antibiotics are being produced in the field of medicine and most of them are becoming drug-resistant. Therefore, India needs to produce new drugs in the coming years to avoid drug-resistance. Therefore, universities need more support, and the funding that is being received by Indian varsities is not up to the mark. On the other hand, money is not only an essential factor for carrying out effective research but human effort is required as well. He advised the students not top give up and work with dedication and determination to achieve success.
