CUET 2023 Dates ReleasedCUET 2023 Dates: After a long wait by the aspirants, CUET UG 2023 dates have finally been released. Today, on February 9, 2023, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of UGC, declared on his official Twitter account all the important dates for CUET 2023.The tweet thread majorly details the examination structure and the application dates while the examination dates have been conveyed earlier by the NTA. CUET 2023 application form will be released by evening on February 09, 2023 at cuet.samarth.ac.in, and will be live online for a month afterwards until March 12, 2023.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an examination introduced in 2022 by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is conducted by the NTA. CUET UG is carried out to provide a single window of opportunity to all the students who seek admission into any of the Central Universities in the country. It provides admissions into various courses like B.Sc, B.A, B.Com., etc.

CUET 2023 Notification: Important Dates
Important dates pertaining to CUET 2023 are tabulated below:

CUET 2023 Notification Highlights
Aside from the schedule, the following are the major highlights of the entrance examination:
- CUET UG 2023 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) but it will not be remote-proctored. The test will be conducted at exam centres in three shifts per day.
- Only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options will be asked.
- Along with CUET application form 2023, the information brochure will be made available as well. Before applying, candidates must ensure to match the eligibility and course requirements of the desired university. The respective university will verify eligibility during the counselling process before confirming admission.
- CUET UG will consist of three sections:
- Section IA – Languages section with 13 language options
- Section IB – Languages section with 20 language options
- Section II – Domain-Specific Subjects sections with 27 subject choices
- Section III – General Test
- Sections IA, IB, and II are optional while Section III is mandatory for all candidates. Exact question paper structure can be checked here: CUET Exam Pattern 2023
- A candidate can take a maximum number of 9 tests in the following combination:
- 2 Languages+6 Domain Specific Subjects+1 General Test
- 3 Languages+5 Domain Specific Subjects+1 General Test
- Test Duration: Languages and Domain-Specific Subjects will be held for 45 minutes each. General Test will be held for 60 minutes.
