For admission to undergraduate law courses, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) will conduct the Himachal Pradesh National Entrance Test (HPNET) on May 21, 2017, for admission to BBA LLB, BA LLB as well as postgraduate law programmes like LLM.

Eligibility Criteria for HPNET 2017:
For Under Graduate Programmes
- Candidates must have cleared their Higher Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognised board
- Candidates must have scored 50% marks in aggregate
- Students applying for the programme must be below 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ ST candidates) at the time of admission
However, students who have cleared their Class 12th exam from Open Universities are not eligible for the law course.
For Post Graduate Programmes
- Candidates must have cleared their undergraduate i.e. LL.B. Degree (3 years or 5 years) from any recognised University in India
- Candidates should have scored 55% marks in aggregate
- University should be a recognised university
