With MBA being one of the most sought-after professional and career advancing courses in India, a recent report titled MBA Trends and Analysis 2018 has revealed certain facts that have been described below.

- Green City of India -Bangalore is regarded as the hot-favourite destination in the country for aspirants wishing to take up two-year MBA degree course in India.
- More males prefer to join MBA in Bangalore than females.
- Most MBA applicants taking up MBA in the southern city are from Uttar Pradesh.
Parameters of MBA Trends and Analysis Report 2018:
The motive of the survey was to examine the opinion and mood of the candidates across the country towards MBA in common. The survey was conducted to answer a variety of questions that come to the mind of an MBA aspirant including
- The traditional programmes versus new-age programmes
- The worthiness of the degree in comparison to salary package
- Background check of the aspirants
- Significance of demography in shaping the opinion of an aspirant’s choice of the institute

Over 5 lakh MBA aspirants took part in the MBA Trend survey and gave their views on the same.
If we analyze the entire survey data points, the following cities are the preferred destinations for MBA aspirants: -
- Bangalore
- Pune
- Mumbai
- Chennai
- Delhi
Interestingly, most of the MBA applicants in these cities are from Uttar Pradesh (UP), Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Andhra Pradesh (AP). On the other hand, out of the total applications processed for MBA course, the highest proportion of applications belongs to males.

The survey also pointed that most female aspirants are keen to take up Digital Marketing specialisation in MBA. PGDHRM and Certificate courses are also among the choices of female MBA candidates. Overall, Finance and HRM specialisations have topped the list of most favourite MBA specializations.
