The Financial Times (FT) Asia-Pacific Business Schools Ranking 2018 has been released. The list featured the top B-Schools in India. IIM Ahmedabad has dominated the rankings with 4th spot while IIM Bangalore bagged the 8th spot in the rankings this year. Among the global business schools, National University of Singapore Business School, CEIBS – China and Shanghai Jiao Tong University – China have dominated the FT Asia-Pacific Business Schools Ranking 2018.
Among the top 20 B-Schools in FT Asia-Pacific B-Schools Ranking 2018, IIM Calcutta evinces impressive performance with 13th rank and Indian School of Business (ISB) with 17th spot. IIM Ahmedabad continues to maintain its 4th rank while IIM Bangalore skipped from 6th rank to 8th rank this year.
Despite fall in rakings, IIM Bangalore Director, Professor Raghuram indicated that being recognised as one of the top B-Schools in Asia-Pacific region is a proud moment for the premier institute. The FT rankings enable the B-Schools to provide high-quality management education, and IIM Bangalore is doing its best in this regard, he added.
Under Masters in Management (MiM) category of Asia-Pacific Rankings 2018, IIM Bangalore’s Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) bagged 4th spot this year. The following are the other management programmes of IIM Bangalore that featured in MiM category rankings 2018 –
- Custom ExecEd (Executive Education) – 8th Rank
- Open Executive Education – 7th Rank
- Global MBA (Executive Post Graduate Programme) – 9th

FT Asia-Pacific Ranking 2018 is the second edition of such rankings released by Financial Times. The rankings recognise the quality of management education being offered in B-Schools across Asia-Pacific region.
