- The Red Brick Summit of IIM Ahmedabad will take place from September 29, 2017, to October 2, 2017.
With an objective to educate youth and create awareness on equity as well as process based equity investing, Motilal Oswal Assessment Management Company has collaborated with ‘The Red Brick Summit’ of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The summit is an annual symposium which usually focuses on a unique initiative. This year it will take into account the ‘Motilal Oswal Think Equity Think QGLP Contest’. It is a great opportunity for the B-School students to check their stock-picking skills. The contestants must present the same to the distinguished panel. The best performers will be awarded attractive cash prizes.

Before participating in the contest, the participants must equip themselves with the QGLP stock picking methodology. Through this methodology, the contestants must pick a stock and provide a rationale for the same in a detailed and prescribed format. The selection panel will shortlist the entries submitted by the candidates out of which only top 10 entries will get an opportunity to present their investing idea at IIM Ahmedabad.

The contest is open to all the students pursuing management courses in various B-Schools across the country. September 7, 2017, is the deadline to submit the entries. The top 3 investing ideas selected by the panel will receive the cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh respectively.
The Red Brick Summit of IIM Ahmedabad will take place from September 29, 2017, to October 2, 2017. Reputed companies like Aditya Birla Group, Business Standard, Coca Cola and Google are some of the sponsors of the event.
