- IIM Ahmedabad organized the Young Alumni Achiever's Awards 2018 to celebrate the success and achievements of young alumni members under the age of 45. YAAA awards 2018 were given out in four main categories elaborated below.
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) organized the fourth Young Alumni Achiever’s Award (YAAA) on 25th June 2018. The YAAA awards were organized to facilitate the alumni members who have gone a step further to make an impact in society and have made considerable changes. The YAAA award is the brainchild of the alumni office at IIM Ahmedabad and is awarded to the alumni of the institute under the age of 45 to acknowledge their work and achievements.
For this year, the institute distributed the awards mainly in four areas which include Academic and Arts, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Leadership, and Entertainment. The winners of the YAAA Awards 2018 at IIM Ahmedabad are Chetan Bhagat in Arts and Entertainment; Ashwani Monga in Academics; Kuldeep Jain, Prakash Jhanwer, Anuradha Chugh in Corporate Leadership; Manish Gupta in Entrepreneurship.

The YAAA award ceremony was held at IIM Ahmedabad campus itself. Apart from the ceremony, the winners also interacted with the students to exchange ideas with one another and to inspire them to dream big.
The YAAA awards were initiated in 2015 to recognize the good work done by the successful alumni of the IIM Ahmedabad. With every passing year, the scope and size of YAAA have been growing at a steady pace. Last year, the institute handed out seven awards in the categories of Public Service, Corporate Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

To participate in the awards, contenders can either nominate themselves or be nominated by fellow alumni members.
