IIM Kozhikode's Survey on What Women Want

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode Alumni Association conducted a survey on 'Women in the Workplace'. This was a pan-IIM survey and was conducted by IIMK in association with 'The Star in Me', a global career advancement platform for women. The survey has been conducted in light of the Women's Day about to be celebrated on 8 March 2020 and it attempts to understand what women want in the workplace and their professional lives.

The survey was kept open till 1 March 2020, and the results will be published on Women's Day. The survey aims to highlight the challenges that women have to face in their workplaces and understand what steps can be taken to make the workplace better for female professionals. Even in the modern world where so much is being done to give women equal opportunities all around and policies are being framed to boost education among girls, these types of survey are essential to highlight that there are still a lot of bridges to be built and women still have to face discrimination.
