Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow or IIM Lucknow’s 31st Annual Convocation Ceremony is scheduled to be held on Monday, 20th March 2017.
According to sources, the Chief Guest for the programme will be online travel company - MakeMyTrip’s Chairman and Group CEO, Mr. Deep Kalra. He will grace the occasion and deliver the convocation address.

About 600 students who have been pursuing management education at IIM Lucknow will be conferred with diplomas on Monday.
Candidates and students of the following courses and programmes will official graduate on the day:
- Post Graduate Programme in Management
- Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives
- Post Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management
- International Programme in Management for Executives (popularly known as IPMX)
- Fellow Programme in Management

Previously, the graduating students were awarded the diploma only. However, from this year onwards, the students will additionally be given a certification of appreciation which will consist of security features and a unique photograph of the student.
Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow is was established as the 4th IIM in the country, after IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A), IIM Bangalore (IIM-B) and IIM Calcutta (IIM-C) in the year 1984. The students who are a part of the management institute are nurtured and taught in such a way that human values along with professional ethics are inculcated in them. This not only leaves a positive impact on the nation but also on a much larger global platform.
