Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi launched BUDDHI, a Do it Yourself (DIY) kit for school students in context to the technology startup supported by the institute. The DIY kit was launched on Monday by the director of IIT Delhi, V Ramagopal. The toolkit has been prepared by CYRAN AI Solutions with the purpose of teaching students about Artificial Intelligence in an easy and seamless manner.
As per the officials of the startup, with the help of the DIY kits, the students will be able to learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence in an easy way. This will also help them to use AI-based solutions to solve real-world problems without any prior knowledge of the concept.
The BUDDHI kit launched by the institute has been developed by professor Manan Suri, who was also awarded by MIT, the USA under the list of top 35 innovators below the age of 35. The kit has been developed in India and has been developed using advanced and highly proprietary hardware and software.

The main motive of building the kit was to bridge the gap between the theory of AI concepts and its implementation in the real world. It took almost 2 years for professor Manan Suri to develop the kit completely. He says that there is always a gap between the possibility and implementation of every advanced technology. The factor which widens this gap is the lack of resources to build an interactive bridge between the concept and the practical implementation. He further added that with the BUDDHI kit, he is determined to help the young students learn the implementation of AI concepts in an easy manner.
As per the institute, the BUDDHI Kit introduced adheres to the CBSE’s AI curriculum.
