IIT Guwahati is all set to host Techno-Expo- a national science competition as part of its annual techno-management festival Techniche.
The event aims to highlight the technological advances made by the youth of the country and present their innovative skills in a common platform. The competition is said to be conducted in two phases- Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 will include abstract submission along with a short video with a brief introduction of the project.
The deadline for submission is set on May 20. The top hundred contestants will qualify for Phase 2 which will be conducted at IIT Guwahati during Techniche. It is said that the top seven projects will be selected as the final winners of the event. Winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 300000.
Students are gearing up for the event in full swing and preparations are on.
This event will give students an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a larger audience including professors from various fields, Nobel laureates, top-notch business tycoons, venture capitalists, and students from all over the country.
The registration for the event is free and students can register themselves by logging in to the Techniche website.
