IIT-I to Organise Annual Fest from Feb 4
Indian Institute of Technology-Indore will be organising its annual techno-cultural festival called Fluxus from February 4 to 7.
Fluxus is a mix of cultural display with hint of technological innovation. This 4-day festival would see students participating in the event from all premier colleges across the country. The festival is a hub for excitement, amusement and splendour and guarantees an amazing experience revolving around science and entertainment.
This year, the event is divided into 4 categories- Cultural Cruise, Tech Theatre, Informal Bays and Quiz Fest.
A total of 55 events- 25 competitions, including dance, music, singing, drama, painting, photography would be conducted under Cultural Cruise while Tech Theatre will feature 15 competitions including intelli gesture, robo one, monopoly of circuits, to name a few. will be held during the 4-day fest.
A total of nine events including treasure hunt, 47 seconds of fame and hydro shoot would be conducted under Informal Bays, the Quiz Fest will also see competitions including enigma, Bollywood quiz and lukkha quiz.
Students of IIT Indore is organising events like Voice of Fluxus (solo singing), Aaja Nachle (solo dance), Dance Pe Chance (duet dance) and Anybody Can Dance (group dance) in cities like Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai and Indore to short-list artistes to perform in the festival.
While the selection process has already been conducted at Bhopal and Chandigarh, pre-fest events will be held in Delhi, Indore and Mumbai on January 21, 23 and 30 respectively, the pre-fest activities have already begun.
