IIT Roorkee started its placement 2021 session on December 01, 2021. There were 13 international offers with the highest package at 2.15 Crores on Day 1.
IIT Roorkee Placement 2021:IIT placements are underway and IIT Roorkee started its placement 2021 session on December 01, 2021. On the first day of placement, a total of 35 national and international companies visited the campus. A total of 437 offers were made to the students including PPOs. There were various international offers also made at the IIT Roorkee placements. A total of 13 students were offered international placement offers. Out of the students who got selected, one student was able to attain the highest international package of 2.15 crores. For domestic offers, 3 students received a package of 1.30 crores to 1.8 crores.

As per the reports shared by IIT Roorkee for 2021 placements, the highest CTC for domestic level placement went up to 180 LPA increasing from the last year's highest CTC at 80 LPA for the session. For International level placements, the highest CTC went up to 215 LPA increasing from the last year's highest CTC at 69.5 LPA. There was also an increase in pre-placement offers from the last year from 154 to 219 in numbers.

There were various companies that visited IIT Roorkee for placements with some of them being multinational companies. The list of companies that visited the campus for placement 2021 includes Apple, Amazon, Alphagrep Securities Private Limited, APT Portfolio Pvt Ltd, Bajaj Auto Limited, Codenation, Cairn Oil and Gas, Da Vinci Derivatives, Flipkart, Google, Goldman Sachs, Graviton Research Capital LLP, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Intel Technologies, Infurnia Technologies, ITC Ltd, JPMC Quant, Jaguar Land Rover, Micron Technologies Operations India LLP, Mercedes Benz, Millennium Management, Microsoft, Oracle, Nvidia, Plutus Research Pvt Ltd, Qualcomm, Quadeye, QuantBox, Schlumberger, Sprinklr, SAP Labs, Squarepoint Capital, Schlumberger, Trexquant, Texas Instrument, Tata Steel, Uber.
