IIT Placements 2021 (for the 2022 graduating batch) are set to begin on December 1, and most IITs have already witnessed a rise in PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers). The PPOs and acceptance rate have increased across all IITs. In 2020, the placements got affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the number of PPOs offered and acceptance rate were comparatively less than 2021, 2019 & 2018. The rise in the number of PPOs will reduce the IITs’ dependency on final placements. Some of the major highlights with regard to PPOs offered at various IITs can be checked on this page.

As per the primary data disclosed by various IITs, the data regarding pre-placement offers offered at various IITs across the country is as follows –

Apart from the above institutes, IIT Gandhinagar has experienced a 60% jump in PPOs than last year. The highest salary offered as a part of PPOs at IIT Guwahati was Rs. 63 Lakh.

On the other hand, IIT Jodhpur Phase 1 placements for the academic session 2021-22 witnessed the participation of 40 companies, and the average salary offered was Rs. 24.32 LPA. The total number of placement offers is higher than the previous year, and the institute is expecting the participating of more companies in Phase 2 placements that will begin in December 2021.

IIT Placement process for the 2022 graduating batch will be held virtually considering the Covid-19 protocols, and no campus placements are scheduled this year as well.

For admission to B.Tech at Alliance University, the candidate must have passed class 12th in PCM/ PCB stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The candidate who has pursued a diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with a minimum aggregate of 50% can also apply for admission.
