IIM Graduate to Head IT Team of AIADMK

Under the decision-making power of AIADMK general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, G Ramachandran, an Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad graduate will now be working as an IT Wing secretary of the party, taking the position of Aspire K Swaminathan.

She further directed the party cadre to extend full cooperation to Ramachandran.

Ramachandran, aspired by the leadership and administration of AIADMK supremo, skipped IIM’s campus placement drive in March last year to enter politics. Singai Govindarasu, Ramachandran late father, was an MLA from Singanallur between 1991 and 1996, which increased his interest in politics.

He also contested in the student’s affairs council election at IIM-A and become its general secretary.

Party sources said Ramachandran, is likely to take charge of his new responsibilities on Tuesday.
