JD Institute Collaborates With Jain University for Workshop on Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship

JD Institute Fashion Technology to host a Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship workshop in collaboration with KEMI, Jain University. The workshop will extend for two days and will address many topics related to the industry.

JD Institute announces Fashion and Lifestyle Workshop

JD Institute of Fashion Technology announces a workshop on Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship in collaboration with KEMI, Jain University. The workshop is scheduled to be held on 6 and 7 March 2020 at the St. Marks Hotel, Bangalore.

The focus of the workshop is mainly on the need of fashion entrepreneurs who can recognise the opportunities in the market. Further, the workshop will be inclined towards the present global times with all the potential and challenges that it brings. The workshop will address entrepreneurial thinking, ethical strategies and sustainable fashion in order to build a start-up or a global brand. A team of practitioners and experts from the managerial and fashion background and with years of experience has come up with this workshop.

The workshop will grant aspirants access to interdisciplinary expertise and an experience that will awaken their entrepreneurship skills. As per the information, the workshop is aligned to be held for 2 days. The Day One will include an overview of the lifestyle/fashion industry, value chain of the fashion/lifestyle business, connecting ideas of customers and opportunities, entrepreneurial opportunities and building the prototype of the opportunities. As per the outline, the second day of the workshop will address the topics such as building a business on the opportunity prototype, working out a business plan and problem-solving. There will also be a live session with a fashion or lifestyle entrepreneur on the second day of the workshop.

The industry mentor of the JD Institute, Mr. Pramod Adhikari, says that the workshop has been designed for the future entrepreneurs who want to build their own enterprise of fashion. It will touch topics like understanding fashion trends, value chain, business model and will cover the economics of lifestyle. The attendants will also get to have an encounter with an accomplished business leader, Mr. Tripat Preet Singh who has 20+ years of experience in Investment and Venture Management and the curator of Tasya Design Studio, Ms. Kamal Mohandas.

The individuals with a desire to take an existing venture to the next level or with the will to create an enterprise must attend this workshop as it is perfectly curated for them.
