Rahul Bharadwaj, the topper of Mumbai in JEE Advanced 2017 examination has bigger plans about his career. He secured AIR 20 and scored 320/366 in the national level engineering entrance examination that is conducted for admission to IITs. He completed Class XII from Ramanand Arya DAV College. He took coaching for JEE examination at FITJEE. Rahul’s father is a part of the Indian Navy. Unlike many students, Rahul has different plans with respect to his career. His ultimate aim is to pursue research in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Speaking about his plans, Rahul said that he wants to take up B.Tech (CSE) i.e. Computer Science Engineering course at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay). For pursuing research in Artificial Intelligence, B.Tech degree in Computer Science is the first step.
On the other hand, Sravya Devulapalli is the girl topper from Mumbai. Her AIR is 59, who also took coaching classes at FITJEE.
Akshat Chugh from Pune secured AlR 2 and emerged as the topper of the state. This year, a total of 1,59,540 candidates took JEE Advanced 2017 examination. In order to qualify in the exam, the General Category candidates must score a minimum of 12 marks in each subject, and an overall aggregate of 128 marks. Whereas, SC/ ST candidates must score 6 marks in each subject, and an aggregate of 64 marks.

Mohit Sardana, Director of FITJEE, Mumbai revealed that the performance of students in JEE Advanced examination has been better this year. The rank-per-mark ratio has increased with more girls making it to the top 100 ranks.
