JEE Main January 2023 Day 2 Exam Today: National Testing Agency will be conducting the day 2 exam today 25th January 2023. The exam will be conducted in two different shifts 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates appearing today must carry the admit card along with the Adhar card and self-declaration form. Apart from that, the candidate must check the do and don'ts of the exam (link below).  Due to traffic jam-related issues, candidates are advised to visit the examination centre 45 minutes or 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. The day one exam concluded peacefully on 24th January 2023 with fewer to no candidates complaining about any technical difficulties during the exam.

JEE Main January 2023: Previous Day Exam Highlights

Below candidate can check the previous day exam related highlights to prepare well for the exam:

  • The overall difficulty level of the Shift 1 exam was moderate where most students felt the chemistry section was easy compared to other sections
  • In chemistry, most of the questions were asked from organic chemistry than inorganic and physical chemistry
  • The physics section got mixed reactions from students some same the exam was moderate and others said the section was difficult. 
  • For math, we received a similar reaction as many said the paper was difficult
  • When it comes to shifting 2 the overall difficulty of the exam was similar to shift 1 a moderate
  • In shift 2 physics section was easy compared to other the morning session and other sections in the exam 
  • Math received a mixed reaction between moderate to difficult and the chemistry exam also came as a surprise as it received a rection of easy to moderate
  • In both shifts, there was no question from statistics in Maths 
  • The calculus was easy compared to previous years' paper
  • In mathematics, there were questions from Matrix, Integration, Hyperbola, Set, Function, 3D Geometry, Calculus
  • In physics, there were questions from Mechanics, Modern Physics, Electromagnetic force, Semiconductors, Kinematics, Electromagnetic Systems, Modern Physics., Communication Systems 
  • Chemistry: Biomolecules, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Block Chemistry, Chemistry in everyday life
