The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) commenced the counselling process for Karnataka CET 2017 on June 5, 2017. The counselling process began with certificates verification. Students have been attending the counselling session as per their ranks. The counselling process will continue until June 21, 2017, and the candidates must attend the counselling with all the relevant documents. The KEA has set up various regional helpline centres for this purpose.

The second step after the verification of certificates is exercising web options. The candidates have to choose the college and course as per their wish. Based on the rank and merit in Karnataka CET 2017 examination, the candidates will get a seat. If the candidates do not get a seat as per their wish, they can take part in the second web counselling, and exercise the options.

After the verification documents at various helpline centres, the candidates will receive a verification slip that consists of User ID and Password. The candidates must use this User ID and Password to exercise the web options on the stipulated date. KEA will release the first round of seat allotment on June 27, 2017.
