Karnataka CET 2017 Toppers Aim for NEET & JEE Advanced

Karnataka CET 2017 Toppers Aim for NEET & JEE Advanced

The results of Karnataka CET or Common Entrance Test 2017 were out on May 30, 2017. This year, Rakshitha Ramesh and Sumanth Hegde bagged the top ranks in the Karnataka CET 2017 examination. Surprisingly, neither of these students prepared for CET specifically.

Rakshitha Ramesh who bagged 1st rank in CET shared her experience. She mentioned that her major focus was to clear the NEET examination. She prepared for the exam with the help of NCERT books to have an idea of the key concepts. According to her, Karnataka CET was easier than the other competitive examinations.

Giving an analysis of Karnataka CET 2017 question paper, Rakshitha said that most of the questions were theory based. She expected many questions from Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions, but there were only a few questions of that kind. Her aim is to pursue MBBS course in Bangalore and has a keen interest in neurology.

Sumanth Hegde who scored the 2nd rank revealed that his major focus was on clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2017 examination. He did not concentrate much on CET 2017. Sumanth scored 177 marks out of 180 in Karnataka CET 2017 examination. He also scored 320 out of 360 marks in JEE Mains 2017 examination and is eagerly waiting for JEE Advanced 2017 results.

Sumanth’s aim is to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He also relied on NCERT textbooks while preparing for the examination.

Both the toppers have advised the future aspirants to focus on their studies, and come out with flying colours. They also advised students to prepare key concepts from NCERT textbooks for best results.
