KEA has extended the KCET 2021 option entry for the fourth time, and the candidates who are yet to submit the option form can do the same by November 16 (10:00 AM). The option entry process was supposed to be closed on November 13 at 8:00 PM. As KEA received requests from students to extend the date, a decision has been taken to give two more days to complete the option entry process. As of now, KEA has confirmed the dates for seat allotment, and the mock allotment result will be released on November 18.

The option entry process of KCET 2021 started on November 2, and the document verification was closed on the same date. Before the commencement of the option entry process, KEA released the seat matrix for all courses along with the important instructions for option entry. In addition, the list of candidates eligible for KCET 2021 counselling was released.

Candidates who are yet to fill the option form as part of KCET 2021 counselling must note that through the option entry form, they can apply for multiple courses (subject to the eligibility criteria). Only those candidates who had obtained the KCET 2021 secret key are eligible to fill the option form. There is no limit on the number of colleges to be filled in the option form, and it is always advisable to fill in as many options as possible. In addition, checking the previous years’ KCET cutoff is important while filling the option form.
