KCET 2021 counselling began with document verification on September 30, and the verification process continues until October 30. ‘Secret Key’ is one of the important components of the KCET counselling process, which will be provided to candidates after the document verification. The secret key will help candidates with the further process of counselling that happens after the document verification. Only those candidates who become eligible for KCET 2021 counselling shall be provided with a high-security key.

Steps to Obtain KCET 2021 Secret Key
Here are the important steps for obtaining KCET 2021 secret key -
- Firstly, the candidates need to complete the document verification at the helpline centre
- The authorities shall verify the documents
- The secret key will be provided to candidates after verifying the documents
- If the candidates fail to carry any of the documents specified by KEA, the secret key will not be provided. Such candidates will need to attend the document verification again as per the dates specified by KEA
- The secret key is provided free of cost
- The candidates should not share the secret key with anyone and keep it confidential
Steps to Register for KCET 2021 Counselling with Secret Key
KEA will notify the dates to register for KCET 2021 counselling separately. All the candidates whose certificates are successfully verified will have to use the secret key to activate the counselling portal. The link to register for counselling shall be placed on the official website of KCET, i.e., kea.kar.nic.in. The candidates need to create a password after activating the counselling portal with a secret key. It is important to save secret key and password to access the further processes of counselling.
