IIM-K Organized Marathon for a Cause

With an aim to spread the message of compassion, The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode have organised the 7th edition of Calicut Mini Marathon-2016 on February 28. The aim of this event is to spread compassion and thus has been named "Compassionate Kozhikode".

The event launch ceremony took place on 19th January, 2016 at the Press Club. The Mayor V K C Mammed Koya launched the official Calicut Marathon Website for 2016.

The marathon is divided in two categories:

• A 10 km mini marathon which is a competitive race
• A three km "Dream Run", a non-competitive run featuring people from different walks of life.
