No Change in NEET Syllabus: NTA

NTA has made no changes in the NEET UG 2020 syllabus. Also, NTA only conducts the NEET exam, the syllabus of NEET is managed by the Medical Council of India.

NEET Syllabus No Change

National Testing Agency has made no changes in the NEET UG 2020 syllabus. NTA released an official notification regarding the rumours began doing around about changes in the NEET 2020 syllabus.

The official notification of the NTA stated that all candidates preparing for NEET 2020 are informed that there is no change in the syllabus of NEET. It remains the same. It also informed that NTA does not decide the syllabus, the agency only provides a link to the syllabus. The link for the same has again been reproduced on www.mciindia.org.

The National Testing Agency is only responsible to conduct the NEET exam and declare the result for the same. The syllabus for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is decided by the Medical Council of India.

The post-exam activity of NEET-UG is like the counselling process for AIQ seats is held by the Medical Counselling Committee and by State Medical Education Departments for state quota seats.

The NEET-UG exam has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The exam is likely to be conducted in the last week of May. Earlier the exam was to be conducted on 3rd May 2020.

NTA has also reopened the form correction window for NEET UG. The application correction window will be open until 14th April 2020.
