NEET 2020 was successfully conducted on 13th September 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Now that the NEET 2020 exam is over students are eagerly waiting for NTA to announce the NEET 2020 Result. Most likely the NEET UG 2020 Result will be released on 12th October 2020.

NEET 2020 Admit Card (Released)

NTA has released the NEET 2020 Admit Card. Students appearing in the NEET 2020 exam can access the detailed notification released by NTA by visiting nta.ac.in.In case you forget your NEET 2020 Login Application Number and Password, follow the steps given below to retrieve your NEET Login Application Number and password.

NTA has also confirmed that NEET aspirants have also been allotted test centres according to their preferences, selected by them in the application form. 99% of the candidates have got their first choice of centre cities.

PILs have been filed in Supreme Court with regard to the postponement of the NEET September 13 exam. The SC took up the hearing on August 17, 2020, and has dismissed the plea that the student's future cannot be put on hold anymore. The exam will take place as per the schedule itself. However, student's lawyer has written to PM Narendra Modi and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank seeking postponement of NEET 2020 due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.

July 03, 2020- Education Ministry asks Testing Agency (NTA) recommendations for conducting the NEET exam. The ministry has asked NTA to submit the recommendations by July 4, 2020.
July 02, 2020 -HRD Ministry forms a committee to review the situation for conducting NEET exam 2020. The committee consists of NTA officials. The committee will submit its report on July 03, 2020.
July 2, 2020: Parents from Middle East Countries file plea in SC to postpone NEET 2020.
July 1st, 2020: Parents Association of India has written a letter to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and has listed 16 points to postpone NEET 2020 for which nearly 16 lakh students will appear. Govt should come up with uniform guidelines not just for NEET but for other exams as well.
June 27, 2020: HRD Ministry has informed that there is no change in the NEET 2020 exam date. The government will take a second review regarding the NEET exam in the first week of July 2020.

NTA has issued an official notification stating that a fake public notice has been around regarding the postponement of the NEET July 2020 entrance exam. According to the official notification, NTA is looking into the fake public notice and its source with an intent to mislead NEET July aspirants, parents, and educationists.

NEET 2020 to Take Place on July 26th (Postponed)

NEET 2020 was to take place on July 26th, 2020. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank confirmed the new date of NEET 2020 and it will now take place on September 13th.

NEET 2020 admit card will be released soon, the admit card will be most likely released 15 days before the exam date. Over 15.93 lakhs candidates have registered for the NEET 2020 exam and there are still talks going on regarding the postponement of the exam.

In the year 2019 NEET was cancelled due to the Cyclone Fani in Orissa. As of now all the exams which were to take place in March and the first week of April have been postponed and the new dates have not been released yet. Authorities and conducting bodies are hopeful that the situation will get better in April. Therefore, there will be no need to postpone the NEET 2020 entrance test. But with board exams being postponed there are chances that NTA might have to push the dates further as the entire academic year will witness changes.
