GATE 2020 online application portal has been re-opened for the J&K students. The GATE online portal will remain open from October 29 to November 8.
Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering or GATE 2020 online application portal has been re-opened by IIT Delhi for J&K students. The GATE online portal will remain open from October 29 to November 8.
IIT Delhi is the conducting institute of GATE 2020 and they have released a notice for candidates of J&K regarding the same. The GATE registration process has been re-opened for J&K candidates as many of them were not able to apply due to interrupted internet services in the state.
The GATET 2020 application portal is only open for the J&K aspirants. The candidates belonging to other states cannot apply for the entrance exam. The online portal will remain active till 8 November 2019.
The J&K administration has announced that all the exchanges along with the landlines have been restored. They further added that the postpaid mobile connections have also been restored at the Kupwara District. They added that the mobile numbers of different officials and office numbers of different essential services have also been re-established.
Further news on the restoration of the functioning of the schools, sources state that even though the overall attendance of the teachers has been reasonable with 75% attendance, the attendance of the students remains weak.
