What is FYJC Counselling 2025?
FYJC Counselling 2025 is a process that offers an online admission process to all students to register themselves and fill out their preferences, and based on merit, will allot seats as per their preference. It will apply the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to allot the students their preferred seats. The Maharashtra government claims that the new action intends to make the state's admissions procedure more consistent and transparent. The government intends to minimise human interaction and remove any chance of manipulation or malpractice during the admissions process by using the online CAP. Maharshtra Government has made the counselling process mandatory for all students for admissions to Class 11. The official website for FYJC has been launched, and students may take a look at mahafyjcadmissions.in .
FYJC Counselling 2025: Key Points
Here are some of the key points that students should be aware of regarding FYJC Counselling 2025:Maharashtra students would no longer need to visit junior colleges in person to apply for admissions to FYJC; instead, they must do it online. Each student will submit an online application, and seats will be distributed according to merit.
On May 19, the online CAP's first phase for FYJC admissions will start. Junior colleges are now able to register after the state released its official site on Friday.
After the SSC results are out, candidates can register on the portal for a registration fee of Rs 100 per student. Seats will be distributed on the basis of merit after each candidate submits their college preferences (a minimum of one and a maximum of ten).
Candidates must confirm the seat if they have been provided their first preference; otherwise, they will not be allowed to compete in the next round. However, they may also choose to wait for a better seat allocation in the following round if they are assigned to a college that ranks second to tenth in their order of preference.
Separate online admissions procedures based on merit will be conducted concurrently for seats covered by in-house and minority quotas.
Four rounds of regular counselling process will be conducted, followed by a special round for "open for All Round" counselling, where the number of vacant seats in each college will be declared, and candidates will have the opportunity to apply for them. If a few number of students apply for a particular college, all of the candidates will be admitted, but if a large number of candidates apply, merit-based allotment will be done by the college itself.
