NEET 2021 is most likely to be held in September like NEET 2020 due to the second wave of COVID-19. As per the current situation, most of the exams are postponed to an indefinite time until the situation is stable. Last year, a similar situation took place and NEET 2020 was held in September due to the lockdown in the entire country.

With the fresh dates for class 12 board exams 2021 to be announced after June, it can be expected that NEET 2021 will be held in September like NEET 2020. As of now, the NEET 2021 is scheduled to be held on 11th August 2021. But the application process for the NEET exam has not begun and the aspirants can expect a delay in the same.

NEET 2021 is the only medical entrance examination in India for admission to MBBS/ BDS and other related courses. The number of candidates expected to appear in the NEET 2021 exam is 16 lakhs and the exam is conducted in single-shift that too in offline mode. Therefore, it is very important for NTA to ensure the safety of the students as the number of candidates appearing in the NEET exam is very high. Taking all these factors into the account, most likely NEET 2021 will be conducted in September like the NEET 2020 exam.
