Check out the grades and scores of top DU colleges:

The score of St. Stephen’s College was most disappointing as the institute scored less than IP College for Women, Acharya Narendra Dev College and Kamala Nehru College. These scores and rankings will be valid for five years. In order to get A++ grade, the institutes must score between 3.76 and 4.

The accreditation was made mandatory by DU in 2014. The decision was opposed by the teachers and principals of the colleges. The teachers argued that the grading will be unfair as all institute will be judged based on the same parameters despite the fact that they have different space allocated to them, experience, and varied scope of enhancing infrastructure and funding.

NAAC accreditation has been made compulsory for all colleges for maintaining transparency about a college’s performance. Funding to institutions will be provided on the basis of their score. Some experts argue that this will impact the growth of the institutes as every institute develops at its own pace.
