How to apply for Shri Ram College of Commerce?

The SRCC admission criteria 2023 UG are based on the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). The first step for admission to the undergraduate courses is to clear the CUET UG exam. The CUET UG result 2023 will be published by the NTA. The result can be checked on cuet.samarth.ac.in. Now, since the results are out, the college will prepare its individual merit list along with the counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the Common Seat Allocation System portal or the CSAS portal as the next step of the SRCC admission 2023. Apart from this, they also need to fill out the Shri Ram College of Commerce admission form 2023 for CUET courses. The detailed admission process through the CSAS based on the CUET result is mentioned below:

  • The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is being conducted in 3 phases.
  • The first phase comprises applying to the University of Delhi (DU).
  • The second phase involves the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by students.
  • The third phase is the allotment of seats and admission confirmation.
  • Candidates must note that the admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared by the NTA on their CUET Result 2023 scorecards.
  • The programme-specific merit scores of students will be auto-calculated by the university based on the eligibility criteria.
  • As per the DU and CUET Samarth guidelines, students should select as many choices of courses and colleges as possible during the second phase of CSAS. This is advised to avoid problems during seat allotment.
  • After the preference-filling phase of CSAS portal 2023 will be over, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
  • An important step during the SRCC admission 2023-24 is the acceptance of seats by students. They must accept their seats within the mentioned dates, for the first round of CSAS seat allotment.  In case they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from their end and the seat will be given to the next eligible candidate.

SRCC is the Mecca of Commerce: The Best Undergraduate Experience in Commerce in the Country

Overall: While it’s famous for its academic rigour and crème-de- la-crème crowd from outside, it’s much more than that. One of the most formative experiences that I’ve had, in terms of meeting people from diverse backgrounds and creating value with them through societies. Besides the college atmosphere is competitive which always makes you push outside your comfort zone to get the best out of you. Last but not the least, the brand SRCC opens a lot of doors and avenues, which would otherwise be shut.

Placement: In the recently concluded placement season 2023-24, companies across Consulting, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Audit visited campus. Prestigious firms included McKinsey, BCG, Kearney, Blackstone, JP Morgan, Nomura, Avendus IB, O3 Capital and many more. Average Placements around 10 LPA. Highest Package at 35 LPA.

Infrastructure: Spread across 18 Acres, SRCC has a lot to offer in terms of infrastructure. 1. Air-conditioned Classrooms 2. Lift for disabled 3. Dedicated sports complex (host to national games and commonwealth games) 4. Auditorium 5. Canteen 6. Huge Sports Ground 7. Boys and Girls Hostel 8. Cafés (Nescafé, Amul etc.)

Faculty: Faculty at SRCC is top-notch. Most of them are SRCC students themselves. Others have actually pursued their PHDs from IIMs, FMS, Harvard, JNU, Oxford etc. They have penned several books which are in use across DU and other central universities.

Hostel: Hostels aren’t as good as they should be. While they’re extremely economical and easy on the pocket, they lack some basic infrastructural necessities. Absence of Air- conditioning in Delhi’s scorching summers is too big a reason to not consider them. At the same time, they offer some great memories of a lifetime.

The No. 1 Commerce College in India (SRCC)

Overall: My course is a B.com hons, which lasts three years and consists of six semesters. Exams were given twice a year, in May and December. In this course, we learned about accounting, business, marketing, human resource management, general management, income tax, auditing, and many other topics. Bcom provides good knowledge of all of the subjects stated above for a commerce student, allowing him to specialise in one of them in his later studies. Our college's faculty is among the greatest in India; many of them are book writers whose works we study in school and college, and there are teachers for every 5 to 10 students. The admissions process was rather simple; they only required a certain percentage in class 12, and if you met that condition, you were admitted. Application forms are available on the official website. The teachers are far more helpful; their knowledge base is vast, and they are all highly certified.

Placement: Our college placement cell is fantastic since we get internship possibilities in the second year of college and in the final semester, numerous firms such as Big4's, TCS, and others visit our campus for recruiting and our last year's first phase. The highest placement is 35 LPA, while the average is 13.25LPA. Students in the fifth semester are eligible for placements with no backlogs. Every important organization, including Bain, Deloitte, PWC, EY, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, and others, makes more than enough placement offers ranging from 6 lakhs to 32 lakhs. Almost 90% of students who are interested in this get placed. This year, I was also hired by ICICI Bank with a salary of 9 lakhs. Various companies visit our campus and give internship opportunities for students in various job categories such as audit & tax, consulting, and so on. With a monthly allowance of Rs 35,000 on average.

Infrastructure: SRCC has one of the best infrastructures in the country, meeting international standards. It is one of the few institutions at the University of Delhi that has upgraded its classrooms to allow for modern teaching equipment and methodologies. The College offers centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, a library, a cutting-edge seminar room, and a fully equipped theatre seating over 750 people. With new ramps, lifts, and special washrooms added to the building, the College takes pride in being a differently-abled friendly campus. In addition, the College has a variety of facilities to meet the reading, hearing, and comprehension needs of its students. The SRCC library is an empowering institution that includes a Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired and a variety of audio-visual aids to aid in the process of self-actualization. The College has refurbished hostels, medical support systems (including a physiotherapy clinic), and a contemporary gymnasium.

Faculty: Each course had around 75 lectures, for a total of 26 subjects. Teachers had an average age of roughly 40 years. Some of them were qualified teachers, including a Delhi University assistant professor. They all had master's degrees, and some even had doctorates. They had extensive teaching experience, and the majority of them had written scholarly publications that were part of our curriculum. The teachers are among the top in the Delhi University system. There is a good mix of young and seasoned faculty. Some of them have written books that are used throughout Delhi University. Experienced professors have more than 25 years of teaching expertise. And youthful faculty members are in charge of teaching pupils about technological advancements and the changing dynamics of the corporate world. Every day, there are four lectures. Also, make a library available. And teachers have a lot of experience in their industry and classes.

Hostel: Yes, I chose a hostel for my first year. The hostel is fantastic. Two persons share a room with two cots with shelves, bedsheets and pillows. We have a colourful garden with gorgeous flowers in the hostel. Indoor sports equipment is available for use in the hostel. There is a nice diet menu. Hostel spots are restricted and are allocated on a merit basis based on 12th grade results in the first year and semester performance in future years. The PG rental depends on your budget and can range from Rs 10,000 to 25,000 per month, with the services being directly proportionate to how much you spend on the PG rental. It is simple for girls to obtain PG accommodations, but it is more difficult for boys due to a lack of PG accommodations. The hostel offered two or three sharing options. Hostel spaces are limited to 50 each cohort.

Hi…. I don’t have any idea about this institute. Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is one of the premier institutes of education in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and, doctoral programmes in 150+ recognized disciplines. LPU has a fully online application to admission process. The candidate is required to complete some basic formalities (register online, upload documents, pay a minimum amount of fee, clear entrance test/interview) to confirm the seat in any programme subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. An eight-digit provisional registration number will be generated and will be shared on registered mobile number and email-id of the candidate, indicating the confirmation of seat. One can also visit the University campus on any working day from 9 am to 5 pm to complete the admission process. There are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission to any of the course at LPU. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in qualifying exam varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., BSc. Hons, B.Pharm, etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. So, it totally depends on the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to take admission to. LPU admission 2023 is going on. LPU has released the registration and examination dates for the LPUNEST Exam 2023. Registration started on February 1, 2023, You can apply online on the official website - admissions.lpu.in. good luck
