GATE 2022 Official Website Goes Live - Check Link Here

The organizing institute of GATE 2022 is IIT Kharagpur, and the entrance exam will be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 & 13. The conducting body has made the official website of GATE 2022 live so that the aspirants can check all the important details pertaining to the entrance exam such as new changes, exam dates, exam pattern, previous years’ question papers and much more. The official website that IIT Kharagpur has created for the entrance exam is the official portal to fill the GATE 2022 application form.

For the year 2022, the GATE exam will have two new papers, i.e,  Geomatic Engineering and Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. Candidates who have completed their B.Tech degree in Marine Engineering can choose the relevant paper as specified above. On the other hand, PSUs that would like to recruit professionals in the field of Marine Engineering shall accept GATE exam score. The organizing institute will soon release the detailed eligibility criteria for two new papers.

Apart from the above change, the number of exam centres for the GATE exam will increase to make sure that most applicants appear for the entrance exam from their hometown. Based on the number of applicants in a specific town or city, the organizing institute will decide on the exam centre.

Last year, MSQs were introduced in the GATE exam. The candidates had to select multiple correct answers from the options given.
