IIT Delhi Requests GATE 2020 Aspirants to Ignore All Fake Emails

With increasing fake emails claiming a specially designed test series for GATE aspirants, IIT Delhi, GATE 2020 exam conducting body, has released a notification requesting aspirants to refrain from believing such information. IIT Delhi states that there are no Special test series for GATE.

With theGraduate Aptitude Test for Engineering or GATE 2020a few months away, a host of fake emails have been generated and sent to various GATE 2020 aspirants. On this regard, theIndian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), the conducting body for GATE 2020, has released statement advising aspirants to ignore such emails.

IIT Delhi stated that all the information regarding the GATE 2020 will be available on the official website of the GATE only. Sources state that the GATE aspirants have been receiving fake emails regarding a specially designed test series. IIT Delhi has declared that they have not tied up for any such specially designed test series.

Over the past few weeks, the number of social media posts on such a specially designed test series for GATE aspirants has been increasing. GATE 2020 aspirants are requested to not follow such social media posts or emails that they have received regarding the same. As stated above, all the relevant information on GATE 2020 will be available on the official website of GATE 2020.

For GATE 2020, IIT Delhi will be conducting the examination on four different dates, i.e. February 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th, 2020. Aspirants will be able to learn more about GATE 2020 such as the important dates,syllabus, etc., on our website as well. Aspirants will be able to access theirGATE 2020 admit cardon 3rd January 2020 on the official website.

For the upcoming edition of the GATE examinations, there has beenan addition of Biomedical Engineering, increasing the number of subjects to 24, for which the GATE 2020 exam will be conducted for. Some of the subjects that are included among the 24 subjects comprise ofCivil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, Architecture and Planning,Aerospace Engineering,Biotechnology,Instrumentation Engineeringand many more. As per the GATE 2020 guidelines, aspirants will only be allowed to sit for one paper per session.

The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering 2020 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test or CBT. All questions will be in the form of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates will receive a duration of 3 hours to complete the question paper, consisting of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. Among the topics that will be included in the paper consist of General Aptitude questions along with engineering mathematics and core engineering questions relating to the area of the candidate.
