Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has confirmed that CBSE Board Exams 2021 will be conducted on the basis of the revised CBSE syllabus. However, the national level medical entrance test NEET 2021 will be held on the basis of the complete syllabus only.
Many state boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education have reduced the syllabus of classes 10 and 12 as a one-time measure taking into consideration hardships faced by the students due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
CBSE Board Exams 2021 on Basis of Reduced Syllabus
Union Education Minister clarified that students will only be required to study the revised syllabus for CBSE board exams 2021 and other state board exams. The questions will be asked only from that portion. He also informed that schools will resume offline classes for students. Some states have already started classes in December.

NEET 2021 to be Based on Full Course
The dates for NEET 2021 are yet to be announced. Aspirants have been eagerly waiting for the NEET 2021 official notification and have also taken it into social media to raise their concerns. Many students are of the view that NEET 2021 should be based on the reduced syllabus as students did not get a chance to attend offline classes which have affected their preparation strategy. However, Union Education Minister has clarified that NEET 2021 will be based on a full course and there will be no reduction in the syllabus.
According to the reports, there will be more internal choices in the NEET 2021 exam. This will be done to ensure that the students who have prepared for the NEET 2020 exams on the basis of the reduced syllabus are not at disadvantage. However, there will be no syllabus cut for the NEET 2021.
